I've been reading things here for a while, and I just want to say that I appreciate all the knowledge and insight I have gained through the various contributors here.

I've been chasing this down for about an hour, I'm very tired, and I just was curious if I should worry about what this spider was doing at my site, or if I should be celebrating my good forturne, if that it is...

I don't think you have anything to worry about, they seem to be just collecting data, take a look here [oxxfordinfo.com] for more information on what they do.

Thanks, i was reading their page last night, but none of it was making sense, because I couldn't figure out where they'd gotten my site from. I still can't answer that question, but at least now what they were doing, more or less.

The other spiders that hit my site were the ones I expected, but scooter was gave me a surprise, didn't expect the quick turn around.
