We're working on a new endeavor now, and plan to create a handful of pages on our site devoted to specific (US) cities, and what services we offer to each specific one.

We've got a list of 50 cities to start with, and have pages created for each. We did a little data-mining, if you will, to include some relevant information for residents of & travellers to each city, and would like to incorporate some "live" information as well.

Obviously, local weather is an option. Two sites offer simple customized scripts to add to your page: Weather.com has their "weather magnets" and AccuWeather.com has a script you can call with a few set variables (the former has a smaller footprint, the latter can be customized to your site's color scheme).

What similar services are available? I'd like something else I can simply plug into my site, giving some live data ... such as:
- wait times / busy-ness at nearby airports
- traffic congestion / feed of specific noteworthy incidents
- current "best of city search" or something similar
- events calendar

As I said, we've got a good bit of static, pre-set data compiled, we're just looking for a little bit more spice to add to it.

To that end ... I've found what I need for weather, but what about the others listed above? Or, do you have other suggestions for localized, plug-and-play, live-fed content? It needn't be available for every city, of course.
