The only thing I don't like is my replies go to the bottom of the email. I want my reply at the top as that is where my customers will look for my reply. I have heard there is a big debate about top/bottom posting, I don't want to get into that debate. I just want my replies at the top.
Can anyone tell me how to change this in Thunderbird?
Can anyone tell me how to share my thunderbird email files with 3 networked computers?
With outlook I used to delete the pst file on one pc, then on opening outlook it would ask me to locate it, I would locate the pst file on the other pc, thus sharing.
Idealy I would like to share the filters and accounts too :)
Account Settings > account2 > Server Settings > Local directory:
Path C:\...\Thunderbird\...\Mail\servername
Would it work to enter these paths into a copy of thunderbird on another networked pc?
I want another copy of thunderbird to use the same copy as the one on my pc (like I described with Outlook).
Account Settings > Local Folders > Local directory:
Path C:\...\Thunderbird\...\Mail\Local Folders
Enter the path into a copy of thunderbird on another networked pc. Now I can access the same email files (only one copy) on 2 computers.
I am rapidly becomming a Thunderbird convert. At this rate I'll be advising our 100+ clients/companies to change too.
I don't use tasks and calendar, but I read somewhere that thunderbird doesn't do that. As you know I'm no expert ;)
The Sunbird Project [mozilla.org] is the up & coming calendar for Thunderbird.
