Command Prompt in XP

How to get back to C:

I am trying to install open office for multiple users
I have to call the setup /net from the command prompt logged on as admin. When I open the prompt it is showing C: Documents and Settings/Admin> I have tried cd.. and C: but it wont let me go back to a strait C:. What am I doing wrong?

If you right click on the shortcut to the Command Prompt, and select Properties from the menu, you can change the "Start In" field to c:\. This will cause you to always start at the root when you create a command prompt.
