viewing video causes my system to reboot sometimes

Whenever I watch any video on my computer (that's web page embedded video like google video), sometimes my computer just suddenly shuts off.

I'm running windows xp, and I have a dual monitor setup.

Any ideas what would cause this? Is this a virus or a hardware issue?

For the first time today, when I tried to reboot the computer it shutoff in the middle of bootup (i'm writing this from another computer!)

This is a reproducible error? You'd need to document what's running at the time of the error. If you can pare the list down and still reproduce the error you'll have a better chance of tracking it down. For example, can you crash the machine in Safe Mode? What about running msconfig.exe and turning off all the startup services?
