We have a very basic "network" here at our office. Here is our setup,
* We have an ADSL router with wireless plugged into the internet
* This router is then plugged into a switch
* All the computers are then plugged into the switch
We share files all the time via shared folders, saves emailing, etc. Our problem is that we let some people next door us use our internet via a wireless connection to the router everynow and then, and they can see our shared documents too.
Is there anyway we can stop them seeing our shared documents but still let use the internet?
Thank you.
One way to secure your data would be to set up a Windows domain on your network and then only allow domain members to access your data. This would require a Windows server though.
