Font not crisp on startup (MCE 2005)

If I adjust resolution then change it back it's fine

What a huge annoyance. I start up my windows pc (MCE 2005) and everytime the font is all blurry. (i'm using a dual monitor setup - one monitor is fine but one is always blurry like this).

i change the resolution. apply. then change it back, apply. i'm in business.

not bad except i have to do this EVERY TIME I START MY COMPUTER!

any advice for an old man:)

Is the blurred monitor a flat panel?
Are images, etc blurred too?

If "Yes" to both of these, I guess the default resolution is wrong. Might be that you have to change the monitor settings from the control panel.

Check your screen refresh rate also - some flat screens don't like some refresh rates, most commonly it seems to be 60 hz.
