beta avail for use?

Hi, I heard Windows Vista has a beta out now, and I'm wondering if the general public can test it, or is it only out to develepers etc?

The Longhorn betas have been out for some time now. Members of the MSDN (Microsoft Developers Network) have been given copies of beta versions of this software. There are beta download links on the MSDN site:
