This is coming out pretty fresh, so details are scant.
MS is saying that any spyware you may have on your system could cause machines to "freeze up" during SP2 installation, so be sure to clean out any spyware before trying to install.
Most people here are prolly immune to this problem, but it might be a good idea to pass on the info to clients, and it might give a clue to why some installations are freezing up/bluescreening.
come ON microsoft! Get your act together and stop making us play the fools.
ugh. thanks for the heads up. I'll pull the spyware when I get around to installing SP2.
