Windows Update IP Addresses

Does anyone know the IP Address blocks MS uses for updates?

I've been adding the IP Addresses that MS uses for Windows Update to my firewall rule for Windows Update one at a time. I'm talking about the updater that uses svchost.exe on port 80 to download the updates.

Does anyone know where I can find a complete list of the IP Addresses MS uses for Windows Update?

just received this list from MS Tech support after I wrote to find out why all of a sudden I get an error instead of updates aaarrrggghhh!

anyway here are the URLs they said should be added to the trusted sites in Internet Explorer:
[Windowsupdate.microsoft.com...]
[v5.Windowsupdate.microsoft.com...]
[v5.Windowsupdate.microsoft.com...]
[Download.Windowsupdate.com...]

I had all of them except the v5's

BTW, anyone else having problems updated these last patches?

The IP Addresses for those URLs you mentioned keep changing.

That's why I'm wondering if anyone knows all the IP Address ranges MS uses as part of the update process.

That's alright. I'm sure someone will benefit from the URLs you posted and that's good enough for me. It would still be nice if someone out there knew the IP Address ranges I'm looking for though. :)
