DEP in Windows 2003 Server SP1 is complaining about a process called ddres32. A search on every major search engine returns zero results for ddres32. Has anyone here ever heard of ddres32?

Given that there are exactly 0 results returned for this keyword on any SE I tried, could you give us any more details of the error itself?

Thanks for the reply Bill.

I'm trying to find a solution for a friend who requested help on the forum for my website host.

He said his HTTPERR log file is filling up with the following entries:

To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program. ddres32.

He's done an AV, spy/ad/malware scan, and trojan scan and his system appears to be clean.

The ddres32 file is located in the system32 folder.

I wish I could offer more information but that's all he and I know at this point.

you could back up the file on CD, then delete it...If windows is closing it down and throwing the error, deleting it will stop the errors.

as a guess ddres32 could have something to do with - resolution 32bit? or something like..
