I left my laptop in the hands of a hardware repair person because the CPU fan was faulty.. on receiving my Laptop back on the desk top i did a right click and looked at the properites and saw that my files were accessed on two particular dates of which the laptop was not with me. I did a right click again and noticed that the previous date was erased and replaced with the date that i accessed it with (the word documents). Is there any way i can see any access log towards a particular word document...or the access information history gone for good

please help

If you're talking about the Properties command within Word, then I'm afraid I don't know of a way to see anything other than the most recent access. If you close the document and open it again the last access time will change. Word doesn't log accesses like that. You can't check the last 10 times the document was simply opened. If someone made a change to the document or printed it then there might be some footprints.

Word and Office files do collect some meta data. Microsoft has various guides on how to remove that data: How to minimize metadata in Word 2003 [support.microsoft.com]
