I am running Windows XP SP2. Sometimes while I am surfing the internet, Explorer will just lock up. When I close Internet Explorer I get an error message as follows:

The instruction at "0x1001a584" referenced memory at "0x1001a584". The memory could not be read.

I found a website that said this is probably a .net issue and removing the .net environment should solve the problem. This solution did not work for me.

Anyone have any solutions?

Try the program "IEFix" if that doesnt work do a spyware and anti-virus check, if that fails manually run "hijackthis" go through the scanlog and look for anything out of the ordinary.
