anyone recommend software protection without coding software?

Hi I have some new software made for me to run on windows applicaytions

my main concerns are these

1. person buys gets full licence and refunds and still has working copy
2. person passes around reg code
3. its installed on several machines

so... i have been checked out some online they vary in price from $24 all the way up..

any ideas or recommenddations?

It's a real tangle of approaches and often it takes more money to get more protection - so there's a trade off.

The only software I'm involved with selling comes with a physical USB key - no key, and the program doesn't run, and only one physical key is issued per license. It's the ultimate lockdown, even if it is a bit of a PITA. But it really only makes sense with relatively expensive programs, or else the added costs are not practical.
