Windows 2000 soooo wierd

Hey guys,
Today i bought a network hub and as i was setting up on my Windows xp pro a network i was working on my step moms computer. Which has windows 2000. Anyways i was trying to creat a link between our computers. I made a network connection on my windows xp pro computer than tried i tried to find this set network through her computer. I figure i would restart her computer to find my network folder but when i restarted her old password would not work. Anyone tell me what's going on?

Had a similar problem when trying to put up a network between some computers all having different versions of Win OS.

After hours of banging our heads against the wall we did a simple windows update, brought all computers up to date with security and other patches and voila!

It seems to work for me, Ive never seen this problem before.

Sounds like a caps lock problem? ;-) Try to boot in safe mode, see if you can logon
