Need help on spec & business plan to purchase a Laptop
I work for a large firm as Webmaster; at my office I already have 2 desktop PC and 1 E-Mac for browser testing capability. Recent months I have encountered numerous problems with our live site and every time major problem occurs I have to rush to office and get things done. Could some one give me few tips to writing a business plan to purchase a laptop so that I can work from home during out of hours. Last need a good spec for webmasters laptop.

How do you plan to connect to your work? Direct dial-up, VPN, broadband? My guess is that the quality of your connection would have a bearing on the performance you need.

All it would take is a good excuse not to be able to make that trip a few times and you'll have a laptop waiting for you the next time you go in.
