Due to contract issues, I am having to migrate our java ecommerce website from one host to another. Ok, no problem... got a very nice deal for a dedicate Linux box... but now have to MOVE this live website!

I've done small website migrations (html/css websites) but never one with the following:

CC processing
nightly updates from external database
live customer data

Does anyone have any advice on the steps to do this?

Site Specs:
Java (serves jsp pages)
Jakarta/Tomcat
MySQL
PERL scripts for the update function

Also on this server will be other Java (struts) websites... however only the jsp site is live.

Am I freaking out too much? Is moving a live site really hard?

o.O

sorry for that tedster... am new here so will watch better.

Am posting this to the Ecommerce section, as it has more to do with that than the server/hardware. Will look for responses there.

Aloha nui.
