Does anyone know what faulty hardware could cause this frequent malfunction?
No way to get out only manualy turn off
turning off and on doesn't even do the trick I have to wait 15' to try my luck again.

This often happens due to overheating - it may well be the processor fan which has stopped working. If you open up the case you might be able to see whether the fan is turning or not (don't touch anything whilst it's running!). Otherwise, any technician can replace the fan for you.

Could also be memory, motherboard, hard disk, etc.

If you have a directional fan (a hair dryer with a cold air setting is ideal) wait for the fault to occur then cool individual items and see if the fault clears more quickly. If it does you've probably found the faulty component.
