I'm looking for a middle of the road laptop, mostly for email, surfing, watching dvd's on the plane, reading my rss at home (wireless on the couch), etc. Any recommendations? Stay away from gateway? Buy a dell?

IS very happy with my FS Lifebook P7010. For me it was a matter of size, weight, DVD, WiFi and use primary for mail, surfing, document writing on the plane.
