Idiot guide on dedicated servers?

I need serious help! I just bought a dedicated server but I have no idea how to set it up. I logged in and was confronted with all these Name Servers (NS Records), MX, Cname, Host/Subdomains (A Records) settings! I've been reading help files for the past 4 hours and to be honest, its made me more confused than I was at the start. Basically I need to setup 3 accounts for my 3 sites, the software the sever is using is Dedicated Server Manager V3.0 (DSM) Does anyone know a site with a guide/tutorial on how to set this up? I have only used shared hosting before, and I haven't got a clue what I am doing.

Also I have to add IP Address and Subnet Mask, I haven't got a clue where to start here, this is so confusing.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld. I assume you are going to host this server with an ISP, that would be your first place to get all the information you asked about. Most ISP's will help you setup the box, if not for free then a small charge, that in the long run will be worth it.

Reef... What OS are you installing?
