Remote reboot Dell server with masterswitch

seem that Dell's bios doesn't support auto start up upon power restoration

I thought all server bios' supported this. Without it, my APC 9211 masterswitch is irrelevant.

Dell tech support says I have to buy a DRAC II card.

Anybody running Dell servers? How do you remote reboot?

we use remote desktop connection (built into windows xp and many linux distro's) connect to the server, reboot it.

I'm actually talking about when the server is totally not responding and you can't reach it via remote desktop.

I did talk to a tech at our host the other day and he said that the later model dells have a more accomodating bios.
