Hello I am thinking about running a forum. I am comparatively new and know no one personally running a forum. I need advice on technical issue.
Free or paid script,database, installation etc.

A great place to start is close at hand. Look at the upper left of this page where it says "Forum Library" and click on the link for Library. Following through some of the discussions that have taken place earlier will be very helpful. Only the classics make the library.
