Is registering strangers under my ISP dangerous?

Okay, under the thread I just posted, I said that I was having trouble getting a member into the threads to post, even though she was doing everything right and according to vBulleti, her registration is as it should be.

Someone else on my site, suggested I register an ID for her, using my own ISP account; I have seen that mentioned in the same context, way back in the archives of this particular forum.

I dunno, it just sounds.....risky.....though I can't think of why.......I can just see a huge forum someday with half the members using my ISP.....jeez I could be flaming myself and not know it LOL!

Any thoughts on this?

I don't think there's any problem registering a user by yourself. At least they won't be posting from your IP.
