I've noticed about a ten percent drop in page views in my forum and have seen a disgruntled post or two.

I was thinking about creating a thread for forum suggestions, criticisms, ideas, etc.

However, once started it will be difficult to remove, and I have no idea what will be posted, good, bad, or indifferent.

Any advice?

My forums tend to have a whole topic devoted to community issues. One gets suggestions, complaints, questions, etc. I wouldn't worry about negatives too much - people like the opportunity to have some input.

go for it. Haqve no fear to listen to the people in your community. You can't affordnot to. if things aren't how they want it, they'll leave, end of story.

I think it's quite important that you don't get overly defensive about what is said in the "Your Say" thread; don't rush to justify your position or nix someone's perspective on things.
