Search-Friendly Archive in vBulletin

Did anyone have an real world experience with vBulletin's so called "Search-Friendly Archive"? I've seens tons of sites using it in SERPs, and usually the thread comes up as "Search-Friendly Archive" page and then sub result is the original thread.

Does it cause any issues with SEs? Dup content? Exclusion?

From what I've observed, the archive pages do fine, particularly for older, inactive topics. As with all scripts, a bit of tweaking may be required to get best results.
