Welcome to the forums Jordan ellis!

Most forums allow you to alter and add extra tamplates, which are the files used to create the layout around the dynamic forum content. Different forum packages have different template systems, so the first question is: which forum package are you using? For example: phpBB, vBulletin?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, Jordan. When you say you want a "layout", what do you mean? Generally, there is a "header" or page template that you can edit to incorporate the content you want.

Sorry if i didn't make enough sense explaining what i meant, that usually happens lol!

Yes i've made my forum through phpBB so its quite a simple onhe but its mainly a Bono/U2 forum so i need a header or template to go at the top to fit the forum. Its a bit of a mess at the moment <snip>
On the plain header it says "Your logo", but when i went to alter it there was no particular way of making the text. I’m so confused by it all really!

thanks :)
