URLs in sub forum descriptions

can it be done in phpBB?

In the Admin panel > forum management > where you add/remove and edit new forums/categories you can also add a description.

Can you put URLs in there in this format: [ URL=http://www.webmasterworld.com]Link Text[/URL ] or Link Text [webmasterworld.com] (as it will be displayed)

I have tried it but it just prints the text.
