HI all,

Would like to ask everyone's help.

I am searching for community website scripts that could integrate the following functions:

1) Simple Forum
2) Personal Blog
3) Personal profile/Searchable
4) A centralized admin to contral all these+ banner and ad management.
5) Maybe Podcast : )

Point is to have user sign in with the same screen name, and all of such functions are integrated.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

The one I came up with so far are:

1) PHPBB
2) PHPNUKe?
3) Blog script - unknown
4) Personal profile script - unknown

Do you guys know if its possible to integrate these scripts into one huge admin? How do I do that.

Also.. excuess my newbi question, in order to install and integrate these scripts.. what type of knowledge do I need to know? I heard I need to know how to set up database.. where do I learn that..

I may just pay someone to integrate and install these scripts.. whats a good money to pay them? anyone interested : )

Thanks

mack

Without knowing the exact names of the apps you have in mind we really cant say exactly one way or the other if it can be done.

What you may want to look into is a "bridge"

A bridge is a script that acts as a go-between for your applications. It enables you to have one set of log in details for all your users. Some content management systems can be used with such a system. You might want to try Googleing for "cms bridege"

Another think you can do is find a content management system (portal) what has modules for the various different features you require such as your forum and blog.
