One with email posting/reply?

Hi,

Is anyone aware of BB software that will allow Forum members the option to participate via email in addition to the actual board page?

In other words, full participation - create and recieve posts and replies from their email (not just get email notification of a reply).

I don't know the answer to your question, but there must be some out there. Via a catchall address, I frequently get e-mails from members who hit "Reply" to their notification email. (The forums I'm involved with don't have this feature.)

I always thought it was the "listserve" conditioning...

I'd offer that using a mailing list in conjunction with a web archiving script is pretty close in function to what you want. A long time ago I used majordomo and an archiving script (whose name escapes me at the moment) to do this at work for a project team.
