Hey all!

Just looking for ideas and a bit of guidance really.

On my forum, I've completely reworked the usergroups as "Clans" for users to create and recruit into. I also use the cash modification . I was thinking of also installing the Bank mod but therein lies the catch.

Instead of the Bank listing users, I want it to list the Clans, or usergroups of my forum, with each of them having its own Bank "account" if you will. I would need the Bank mod to give a drop down selection of all the usergroups that a user could pay into, rather than just the user paying into his or her own account.

I would happily go about disabling the withdrawal features and the likes myself (im good at making things NOT work. lol) it's just the above paragraph that I'm having trouble with and wondering would anyone here be any the wiser at doing something like that?

Another thing to look into afterwards will be the ability to view a 'leaderboard' of all the clans, based on how many points they have deposited to the bank.

It's all a bit in the air at the moment, but I'm wondering what you guys think? How possible, and difficult would it be?

Thanks,
Jim

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, Amano.

It sounds like an interesting approach to structuring a community, including (if I'm understanding it) moderation within each sub-community and competition between the subcommunities. Keep us posted on how the concept is working out.

Anyone have a clue on the "hacking the hack" part?
