That's your solution to everything! ;)

Ignore the trolls and only moderate their posts to keep them above board. Best solution all round that doesn't risk retribution IMO.

"Ignore member" feature. I don't have it on my boards, but I sometimes wish I did ;)

"Don't feed the trolls" is always good advice. Lock threads, keep them as invisible as your software allows... if necessary, put the troll on global ignore. Ultimately, you may have to ban the troll and keep doing so until he tires of the game.
