I´m new to google and I´ve read carefully anything according to the google dance procedure. My site has been indexed about two months ago then I began optimizing my pages and today it´s listed much higher then before. There are different sites that link to mine (about 3 weeks back) which have a pagerank of 5 or even higher so I assume that my page would get one also automatically but the fact is that it still shows a pagerank of a big fat zero. :( dunno why, I´m running an adult site and I´ve heard somewhere that those sites get punished from time to time for no particular reason. Or does it simply take more time for that pagerank to take effect?
