This one might have been around a while, but I can't find any reference to it on WebmasterWorld and it's quite useful.

GMail will accept emails to :-

<user>+<keyword>@gmail.com

So if my address was qwertyuiop35@gmail.com (it isn't, btw) then I could filter mails sent to:-

"qwertyuiop35+important@gmail.com"

.... to the "important" folder.

Similarly, I could set email addresses for my PayPal or eBay accounts to:-

qwertyuiop35+MySecretWord@gmail.com

... and reject any emails "from" PayPal or eBay which do not contain that tag.

Quite a neat idea?

Potential drawback: I've come across a few forms whose validation script wouldn't let me enter an email with a '+' in it. Otherwise it's pretty useful, handy way to make sure newsletters don't get classified as spam without having to setup an individual filter for each one.
