Problem using POP3 with Gmail

I'm using the Gmail's POP3 feature with Outlook Express.

I want the emails to be left in the inbox after OE has accessed them because both my computers (at work and at home) are always opened and sometimes the OE on the computer where I'm not accesses a new email first thus I don't receive it on the computer where I am!

I checked "Leave a copy of the messages on server" and "Remove from server after 5 days" in the Properties/Advanced tab for this account in OE, on both computer.

I also use the "When messages are accessed with POP keep Gmail's copy in the inbox" in the Gmail's settings.

But it doesn't work!
As soon as one OE has accessed the new email, the other won't retrieve it.

Any idea?
