HTML formatted email via POP3 access?

Does Gmail POP3 access suppport HTML formatted emails? All mine arrive in Outlook unformatted.

We send and receive HTML through Gmail.

It arrives in our OE box correctly and even when we view it in Gmail it looks OK.

Check your OE settings to be sure you have HTML activated especially if it is a new system. Our XP SP2 sytem defaulted to having HTML turned off.

If you type new mail in Gmail it is in plain text.

Hmmm, the only HTML setting in Outlook Express I could find was for sending email. I am talking about receiving email from Gmail POP3 service in HTML format. Am I missing a setting in Outlook for how to receive email?

Tools + options + read + uncheck "read all messages in plain text" - hit OK.

This should do it.
