Any of you - and probably a lot of you - have one of those chandeliers that hangs from like thirty feet in the foyer of your McMansion - that's what we Americans call a cookie-cutter 6000 sqft house. Anyway, this lady friend who I'm seeing who moved in with me decided to take a swing on this celestial ornament. She basically jumped off the second floor hallway also thirty feet up and took a swing because it fealt like the right thing to do after two and a half bottles of wine. This thing's about five feet out from the railing, so basically she was stranded. Now, she's a feather-weight and this thing I'm sure weighs more than she does and so the builders put some due diligence into the hanging of this delicate, light ornament. Anyway, she sobers up fast and says "Get me down from here, Oh my God!" Well, now it's bargaining time right - hehehe. I had a few too. So, I say "Hold on minute, don't go anywhere (hehehe), let me go get what I need." So I go get the video cam and the ladder - which might do it or might not. The cam worked like a charm - got some great shots. And the ladder worked too, but damn it was dangerous. That ladder was shaky. Anyway, great time and great story - what relationships are built upon.

A much happier ending than The War of the Roses [imdb.com]. ;)

So would a lot of people.

I smell a one-page website, video hosted by small co hosting Inc in a deal (free publicity/free hosting), a few letters to the press and a few emails to friends.

Stuff like that has incredible viral potential. Make the most of it.
