"I think [former Raiders receiver] Tim Brown said it the best," Alexander said. "He said, 'I love the Seahawks and I love what they do, but I've beat them so many times that I just can't pick them.' I laughed about it, but I was like, 'I understand.'
Seahawks are my team! Gonna get some respect for once. Seahawks 30, Steelers 21
Can't wait!
6th seed favored over the 1st seed seems odd
Yeah, except when you consider how mid-season injuries can depress the overall record of a VERY good (Steelers) team.
Here in Philly we're sorry last year's potential all PA matchup hasn't worked out yet, but it still gives us an instate team to support.
The only thing that makes me nervous about rooting for the Steelers is that I've rooted for the loosing side in every one of their Super Bowls (mainly because as a kid I really admired Tom Landry & Roger Staubach..)
However, my concern is who will win against the spread. I follow my friend's picks religiously (who's made a living off of sports betting), so I'm still waiting for him to let me know of his pick. <snip>
I went 1-1 last week - nailed Seattle, but lost on the Under to the first game.
To conclude, for next year...go Eagles!
