Commodore International Corp, the biggest home computer maker for a while in the 80s, just returned to the Consumer Electronics Show - sort of. If you were hoping for a new Amiga or even a classic VIC-20, you'll be out of luck. The new Commodore has bought the brand name of the famous computer maker and will be using it on GPS and media-player units.

Nice find. Will be interesting to see if a practicaly dead brand can make a come back after all this time.

I hope they resurrect the nostalgic design and capture the "look" of a vintage Commodore for their new products. Tawny housings and chunky chocolate-brown keys?

Memories of many lost nights playing Mule...using "Pub Rules". (If you didn't make it back, your beer sat there until such time as you did make it back to the pub. Cut down on Wombat hunting...)
