I apologize for the delay folks... i spend Sunday and Monday trying to restore some vital services to my PC... anti virus, MySQL server, MySanity... when it was all done I realized that I hadn't had any sleep for days.

Without any further excuses, here is this weeks gizmo.
At a minimum I need to know what makes this gizmo stand out from the rest.

some sort of traffic/pedestrian light?

What kind of sort of...?

benihana, you are on the right track. But I need details. What makes this gizmo so special that we can offer it up for the Gizmo Quiz?

It's not a radiator.

does it simulate natural daylight?

No, it does not propose to simulate anything natural.

Here's something else [geocities.com] to ponder.

It is a street light with high-intensity LEDs?

Or it at least has individual lights that can turn on instantly rather than needing to warm-up. So it can save energy by turning on only when needed.

We have a winner! Congratulations john_k, and thanks to all who played. Will you be able to host next week?

woo-hoo!

Will you be able to host next week?

I forgot about that little rule. It is normally supposed to be on Saturday, right? I will be gone for most of the day. However, I expect that traffic here would be pretty light that day anyway. Would it be okay to do it on Monday (12/26)? If so, then I can do it.

I think it's been moved to Monday from Saturday, except this week when your host blew it!
