keylogger with screenshot ability

Im looking for a piece of software which will monitor each of my machines 250+ and cross check key presses, and on screen words with a library of bad words, taking a screenshot when a bad word is detected logging username and time?

Any ideas?

Have you checked that this is legal. There was a case a while back on something like this but I can't remember which way the court ruled.

havent checked, but its based on children who are 10 to 16 sho access the net so no sure it would come to legalities!?

I would not expect there to be a legal problem for a school application - I assumed you were talking about an office.

I'm planning to release a free version of one of my programs for schools - I'll consider adding this feature.

Such software is prohibited in the US under federal wiretapping laws and the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. In the UK its use would be an offence under the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act of 2000, better known as RIPA.

Best to consult a lawyer on this type of issue.

I'd just set up a proxy with a good ban list and monitor the logs, our corporate office uses a hardware setup which updates itself. Make sure you let your users know they are being monitored to avoid any privacy issues.

This is a UK school and the software is implemented already but im looking for a an open source solution, there is no need for me to consult a lawyer, each pupil has his/her won internet policiy agreement which is signed by parents and pupil agreeing to follow guidlines set down by the school, this is simple monitoring on a network we administer!?
