Even though we are not Americans we sure do love American Thanksgiving Football afternoon!

Have to do some manipulations with the rooftop antenna to get a clear signal from the US but my kid doesn't mind standing on the roof all afternoon:-)

What does Thanksgiving celebrate again?
The calm before the genocidal storm?

I suppose it's a shame we don't celebrate the Jute and Saxon raids on the East Coast of Britain or the Norman invasion and conquest - then we could have a similar sort of pre-colonisation celebration here, too.

Isn't history fascinating in its repetitiveness?
