Am hoping to fly out toward Oslo from London sometime in the next couple of months and staying for a few days. Anyone got any tips about where to visit or places to stay? I'm not a city fan at all btw. so natural beauty must be a high priority!

There's a great ski jump there. Nice view too.

The ski jump tower is a must! Excellent view from up there ...
You should also visit the viking ship museum.
If it were in the summer, I'd recommend a tour boat on the Oslo Fjord.

There are plenty of beautiful places to visit, depending on what you're into.

Bring your own beer... Alcohol is tres expensive.

Other than that, if it's winter you're visiting -

- See the ski jump (holmenkollen) - also head up on to tryvan (just behind the jump) and there's some wicked walks among pine trees and frozen lakes within fairly easy reach of town
- See Akershus Festning (that's the fort)
- Take in Karl Johan (the main street) where you can also go ice skating (at least you used to) - you've got the parliament building on one end and the castle on the other
- Get out to the kontiki/fram mueseums our at bygdoy - there's also a very cook viking museum out there (it's just a ferry ride from Aker Brygge)
- Go to Aker Brygge, have a wonderful seafood dinner - and walk around in the pedestrian area in front of City Hall.
- Go to the Munch Museum & Vigelands park (Vigelands parken is a must see - it's where the sculpture of the angry baby is)

Oslo is a beautiful city - just walk or take the trams around, there's little gems all over.
