i start working for the man on oct.1 (yes, it's a saturday) - and i'll be living out of a suitcase...
i've resolved to never have to check-in luggage if i can help it, so that means i'll be living out of the standard and ubiquitous 45 sq in carry-on (22x14x9).
the only requirement- i'll need to carry a suit or two - so, it would be great if the little bugger had a suiter-
i've found two so far that seem to have good reviews - there's a TUMI which is far too expensive (USD 500+) - and there is a BRIGGS & RILEY which isn't a drop in the bucket either (USD 300)...
any other suggestions from well-seasoned travellers?

It doesn't matter if a cheap one gets lost or stolen. You can replace most of what was in it but it's gonna cost you another $300 to replace.
I would go for a cheap, hard case that doesn't matter what happens to it. When you are travelling a lot the case seems to get more travel worn than you.
Best of luck

I still use my old back pack from when I did the back pack thing when I travel for business. It has been a lifesaver when I have had tight connections. Sling the whole thing on your back and you are ready to run, literally. You just can't do that with regular wheeled luggage (best you can manage is a trot) or carried luggage (your arms will fall off)
Keeping suit neat is just a matter of knowing how to pack it in the pack.
