What book/s are you reading at the mo.

I am re-reading Catch 22 by Joseph Heller and loving it more second time round. I have nothing lined up so wondered if anyone else is immersed in a good book...

Two books on the go at the moment:-

1) A Book about Soils - Ortloff/Raymore

2) Composting, A study of the process and its Principles - Golueke

In the cue, Encyclopaedia of Organic Gardening (Rodale), Complete Book of Composting (Rodale) & Best Ideas for Ogranic Vegetable Growing (Rodale). Hmmm, do we have a theme here?

#2 brings back fond memories - it was the gift to my then future father-in-law that allowed me to court his daughter :-)

Just finished Last Days of Summer by Steve Kluger. One of the best books I've ever read. Baseball, politics, war, movie stars, loveable smartass kid.

Finishing off To the Baltic with Bob by Griff Rhys Jones which had me in stitches through most of it. I concluded he's a better comedy writer than he is comedy sketch actor.

Now reading The Passion of the Western Mind by Richard Tarnas, which I read the first time back in about 1998. (It's a narrative of the development of European thought from Socrates to the 20th century - Sophie's World for grown-ups >;-> ).
