So, I got pregnant the other night

Which for a man is quite a feat

I dreamed I was pregnant.

It wasn't as if it was any big deal. I just knew I was pregnant and so did others. I think I was planning for the birth.

Does this have anything to do with my 50th birthday, yesterday? Do I feel born anew?

Or maybe the dream is a metaphor for a project I've been working on for several years that really really has been in utero for long enough and needs to get aborning?

Or maybe it was that I just ate a bit too much for dinner: Creme brule, chocolate covered strawberries, mesquite grilled pork loin, jumbo shrimp cocktail, glazed carrots, string beans almondine, cafe ice cream sundae, peach wine for our local winery, . . .

You know, I don't know of many guys who have dreams that they were pregnant. Do you of any? (Okay, they've done movies about it, but . . . a guy dreaming about it? That is just a bit too strange. ;)

What's the woman's equivalent of a man dreaming he's pregnant?

Wow, that's some wild dream for a guy! No, I haven't had a dream like that, just wanted to say hi. I turned 50 this past June , and things are going alright. Could be better, could be worse, I guess,

Anyway, I'm in the process of writing a story, which I hope to publish,

any tips?

>>>So, I got pregnant the other night

umm, was this an immaculate conception or is there more to this dream that you might be rightfully reluctant to disclose?

hehehe ... that I got "him" pregnant and "he" had to go through morning sickness, doctor's visits with "his" legs up and, the most fulfilling part of the dream where "he" is going through 30 hours of labor. :)

Lol!

So, you were wondering about what it is that you've brought into this world & and what it is that you'll leave behind...

Pseudo mid-life crisis by the sounds of things. Too much analysis and not enough play makes 'Jack' a dull 'boy'.

Ponder not ye belly-button, but the shadows in your fall...

reluctant to disclose

Omigosh!

I have no idea who the father of my dream child was!

But wait . . .

I'm so confused. :)

Nope, never had that one (and I've had some bizarre ones).

I'm sure Freud would have a field day with you. Seeing as he's dead, we are left with google. I found this search "male dreams about pregnancy" revealed quite a lot about "new senses of beginning" and "creativity wanting to come out" etc.

Basically, everything I read about it said it was pretty good (and quite common), so congrats ;-)

And Happy Birthday!

LOL.

This one time I think I'll pass on the well wishing.

Only as regards the morning sickness and related conditons.
