I absolutly Love my job(pay could be better but considering all the other things and life abhores perfection I think great pay would be asking too much). I love what I do and hate leaving at the end of my day. shure I have some days where I'm thinking "Is it time to go home yet?" but those are few and far between. I feel excited aboult my work and think aboult it on the back burner even away from the office. When a project is done I feel as if I have realy created something that matters.

Just wandering how many people out there can say "I love my job!" 1 out of 3? 1 out of 10?

More like 1 in 1,000,000

Be thankful Sarah, you lucky thing.

I'm guessing for most of us it's just a job. The real love comes at home or during play. For me its my GF and golf. They do tend to get in the way of one another though ;)

I used to love the job I had, but a succession of selfish, manipulative bosses kind of took the edge off.

I'm now happily self-employed, earning much more than I would have been if I stayed in a Just Over Broke. ;D

Once upon a time Ska_Demon awoke and said

"I hate my job more than anything, even more than peas"

The End

I hate my job.

High stress, zero satisfaction and coworkers that would could school Machiavelli. I hate the job. I stay for the money.

Don't know if money's enough really.

I dispise my job, it saddens me to say so but this is a corrupt and morally confused society we with in.

Thats why Im going back to uni on 17th of September.

My client group consists largly of the dregs of humanity, child abusers, thieves, liars and drug dealers its laughable but im expected to lick 'em back into shape by gentle words of caring concern, when they really need the toe my boot placed firmly on their butts.

Everybody, all with no experience of this work, has an opinion and being a public servant Im expected to jump when they snap their fingers. Im truly sick of it.

One of my previous 'clients' were a young couple who'd murdered their kid as he was disabled and they tired of his constant demands.

How do you remain civil in the face of such pure evil?

I love my job; I get to write software all day in a low-stress environment. I know that what I do actually makes a difference, and every so often my customers come and tell me what we made possible.

The only down-side is that I'm getting paid for what I used to do as a hobby. Now I need to find something new to do at home...

I love my job. But, it's really more like a game than a job.

I bet there's higher percentage of "job lovers" at webmasterworld than the general population. A lot of people here are out there making their own way.

Generally, i love my job. It has its ups and downs, but to think what i might be doing instead - yep I love it. However, that pales in comparison - as limbo put it:

The real love comes at home

Having got married one month ago, and just (right now) found out my wife is pregnant - thats a very different thing altogether
