Around €1.20 per litre ...thats around $7.02 per US gallon here in France ...we are told that we are amonsgt the lowest prices in Europe ...seeems to me we are right up there with everyone who's wages are twice the average here (such as the Swedes and the Germans , Brits, Irish etc )..so effectively we are at twice their prices .....:o

As of this past Tuesday I paid 7.7% less than the posted price :):

Several gas stations around town give 7 cents off Premium gas every Tuesday. Don't know why, but I'm not complaining.

Premium (93 octane) = $2.519 per gallon less $.07 off for buying it on Tuesday less 5% or $.12245 my credit card company credits my bill for gasoline purchases. That's a net of $2.32655 per US gallon.

Uk is about 90 pence a litre (0.90 GBP)

Yeah for normal octane; I have to use high octane fuel in mine - 97pence a litre!

Tried to edit the above ( "edit available" times got shorter here recently! )to remove the inversion ..should read about $7.02 US per US gallon ..still way way too high tho considering our economy and our wages relative to those of our neighbours ..
BTW ..Computers and DVD's , Books , software , clothing etc all cost more than they do in our neighbouring countries eg ..Germany or the UK, Spain etc ..food is about the same as the UK ( restaurants may be cheaper ..depends ) wine and cigarettes are cheaper ...to encourage consumption of the same ..go figure ..:{

Lawman ..do you never sleep ..it's gotta be still dark where you are and before mornin milkin time ..

Haha, I have weird sleep patterns. As long as I get 6 hours sleep somewhere during the day, I'm ok. :)

I heard on the news a Petrol Station near Hyde Park in London is now charging £1.29 per litre. There should be another BIG demonstration in the UK re fuel prices. We had a great one a couple of years ago that certainly made the government think. It brought the country to a standstill.

The government have just put fuel prices up again!

Whoops! nearly went into a political rant then.

This needs to / probably will happen again - there is one very good cheap solution to all this - get the LPG conversion on your car. Not sure about the prices but sure its only 0.20-0.30 pence per litre! :)

yesterday gas prices in our region exceeded $1/litre (CDN) for the first time ever. Gas stations have been forced to add another digit to their signage.

Today most stations were showing around $1.05

OK, yesterday at the same station I paid $2.679 less $.07 less .13 rebate on my credit card for a net of $2.479 - a jump of $.15 in a week. Zounds! Maybe I need to put some more thought into buying that Shelby Mustang.

Well, I have two trucks and a jeep.

Gas is now $3 a gallon but we don't drive all that
far ( this is an Island, after all, and the speed limit is
45 miles an hour or less in most places ).

Because we have alot of "toys" like surf boards, scuba gear
kayaks and a boat, having trucks and and SUV makes the most sense but we don't have to drive far at all so , to be honest
it's not such a big deal.

Filling up my truck cost me $70. 12-pack, $8. Drinking beer while working on my Roadrunner? Priceless.

It was 00.0 cent/litre at PetroCanada gas station yesterday but there was no long lineup. It's not free. It was actually 100.0 cents/litre but its signage was unable to show three-digits.

Hovering at about 0.91 GBP per litre here in the UK (midlands) today. That's about $6.18 per US gallon, by my reckoning.

Does anyone pay over $5.50 a gallon? This is how much we now pay in India and the oil companies are still losing money. So we're due for a hike any day.
