Naming a New Kitten

Any Ideas?

I brought home a kitten about a week ago and the poor thing still doesn't have a name.
She is like a calico/tabby mix. Mostly a gray body with small patches of orange and some white on her.
She is very affectionate and playful.
I just can't think of a name.
Past names for my pets include: Damiana, Xero, Ambellina, Blaze, Jagger, and Kali. So I usually go for something a bit dark and sometimes musically inspired.
Any suggestions?

My flatmate has aquirted a pair of rescue kittens. After an evening of deliberation we named them Cleo (she has those eyes) and Dylan (the most relaxed kitten In history).

I have already nicknamed them gizmo and widget ;)

I found my cat on the side of the highway in '89 - she's probably has 6 or 7 lives left.

I never did give her an "official" name... Hey!, she doesn't call me by name, either. It's more like, "Yo, ya hairless monkey! Where's the tuna?" Must stop letting the cat watch Red Dwarf...

An unoffical name did evolve over time, and it's the name I/we use at the vet: K'mir.

"Ooo, I like that!" cooes the receptionist. "'K'mir,' as in 'Kashmir?'"

"No, 'K'mir,' as in 'Come here, you little fur-bearing virago!"

lol...
Speaking of Red Dwarf... I really miss that show.
If I'm lucky I can catch it on late night PBS once during the weekend. Other than that, I've not seen any episodes since I was about 16 or so:(
Can you buy it on DVD?

Bah, there I go off subject...
Must. Think. Of. Cat. Names.

Depending on where you purchase from (whether UK or North America), you can get up to the seventh series. (I believe NA'cans can only get up to the sixth...) Check out the official Red Dwarf [reddwarf.com] site to see the smeggin' huge collection of stuff for sale.

In honor of Red Dwarf, I am considering naming her "Holly" or just "Cat". Bah...I can't decide.
If it were a boy, he'd be "Lister" before anyone could blink. I still don't know. I want an evil girly name for her. She's going to be an attack cat. lol.

If there's a chance that you could end up with a "Lister" in the future, why not name your little girl "Kochanski?"

In (old) pop culture news, someone (limbo!) mentioned they have a "Gizmo." One of the girlfriend's cats is "Mugwai." (Gremlins, anyone?)

I want an evil girly name for her.

A 'Sunday' name "Countess Elizabeth Bathory" aka the Blood Countess, but it's a bit of a mouthful.
