Moving MP3's to my IPod

I would like to move some (but not all) mp3's from my I-tunes to my iPod. If I sync, ITunes puts *all* of my music to my iPod. Dragging and dropping does not work.

Help?

download and install the latest version of itunes, and go to preferences under the edit menu. Make sure your ipod is connected and then go to the ipod tab. Tick the checkbox that is labelled "Manually Manage ipod".

Never sync, i hate that feature and have never used it.

But you know what i meant ;-)

I really cant stand that feature and i was quite confused why my ipod was acting that way. They put it as a default setting which is utter nonsense.
