Hello, I am new here at WebmasterWorld. I am currently attending school for Internet Technologies. I am taking an English class over the summer – Professional Research and Reporting. 40% of our grade for this class is based on a formal report we are required to write. The report is to be based on our area of work and/or study. I would like to write mine on the processes involved in starting a web-based business. I need at least one good book to use as a reference. I was hoping someone might be able to recommend one that they have found helpful and that is not too outdated. Thank you.

Your best bet is to look online because printed books are often out of date. You can begin from [entrepreneur.com...] and then search using Google.

I looked on Entrepreneur per your suggestion and realized that they have an entire section devoted to E-business. This should be very helpful. Thank you.

It also depends on what kind of business you will be starting.. I read a lot of business litterature on other topics, you always find some ideas which you can change some and turn them into online ventures.
